We have an opportunity to join our supply chain team as an Assistant Merchandising Manager reporting to the Merchandising Manager.
Key responsibilities
Identify fulfilment, allocation and stock opportunities to improve availability and inventory productivity
Developing a stock and open to buy plan
Work with merchandising team to better manage availability, inventory health, open to buy, item level forecasting
Support the development of KPIs to monitor success and progress, collect and apply learning within follow up process
Work on cross functional projects as needed to support company objectives
Liaising with the Commercial Department, the Logistics Team, the Space Planning team, Stores and Distribution Centre
Work with Merchandising Manager to develop long term strategy with focus on forward planning
Support development of the merchandising team
Assume full management responsibility of the Merchandising function in the absence of the Merchandising Manager
Key Skills
Strong experience in commercial & merchandising
Team management experience
Ability to drive continuous development and improvement
Project management
High proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel
