The
Irish Blood Transfusion Service (IBTS)
is seeking a dedicated
Donor Attendant (DA)
to join our Limerick Mobile Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a vital public health service while building a meaningful and rewarding career.
As part of our
nurse-led collection clinics
, the Donor Attendant plays a key role in supporting donors before, during and after the donation process. You will work under the direction of a
Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) / Registered Nurse (RN)
and be part of a cross-functional team committed to delivering operational excellence, enhancing donor experience, and supporting national healthcare needs.
The Limerick team supports collections across the South-West region.

Essential Criteria
To be considered, applicants must clearly demonstrate the following in their application:
* Leaving Certificate / FETAC Level 5 (minimum)
* Proven computer skills
(via training or experience)
* Excellent written communication skills
and high attention to detail (fluent English)
* Experience in a customer-focused environment
Salary
€34,429 – €54,067
(incl. LSI),
pro rata per annum
Entry point on the scale depends on relevant experience.
Eligibility / Citizenship Requirements

* EEA citizen (EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway)
* UK citizen
* Swiss citizen (under EU–Switzerland movement agreement)
* Non-EEA citizen with
Stamp 4
* Person granted
international protection
(or eligible family member) with Stamp 4
* Parent of a dependent EEA/UK/Swiss citizen child with Stamp 4
