The Role:

The Asset Operations function forms the cornerstone of service delivery to customers, protecting the environment and meeting regulatory standards as well as managing the majority of operational expenditure. The Asset Operations function has responsibility for operational and maintenance strategy, policies, planning and standard operating procedures for Water and Wastewater operations both nationally and regionally, ensuring that value for money and customer service is delivered.

The Operations Support Team has responsibility for providing and managing effective business infrastructure and processes at a national level to support operational activities at site level.

Reporting to the Insights Performance Technical Lead, the Insights Performance Analyst will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality analysis to provide insights to the Asset Operation's functions through a number of key activities including; developing best in class reporting capabilities, data and technical support, promotion of "Right First Time" and the delivery of the Business Support Team's programme of works.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

* Deliver high quality analysis of operational KPIs for Asset Operations, providing in-depth insights on all levels of performance and success at regional and national level, identifying trends and benchmarking.

* Support Insights Technical Team to develop a suite of Operational Performance reports for key internal and external stakeholders

* Determine and analyse reporting requirements for the Asset Operations Functions and support the Team's programme of works.

* Contribute to the design and building of standardised Asset Operations reporting capabilities for handover for BAU (Business As Usual) activities

* Develop and maintain efficient working relationships with other business teams, providing best in class customer service to Stakeholders

* Ensure interim reporting capabilities are in place, supporting operational oversight across the Asset Operations functions

* Develop and support Asset Operation's Centralised Reporting and "Right First Time" initiatives

* Perform data quality checks and ensure data provided by Asset Operations Functions is accurate and measures are highlighting true Operational performance

* Drive and promote, best in class, Enterprise Content Management initiatives

* Provide high quality, customer focused, technical and data support to Asset Operations Function

* Prepare and communicate elements of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to inform internal and external stakeholders on Asset Operations operational performance and quality check same

* Ensure all Asset Operations Data Management and Data Protection obligations are adhered to

* Participate and support Communications and Connectivity activities (The Filter, Newsletters, Staying Connected & other UÉ publications as required

* Participate and support Asset Operations Employee Engagement, Well-Being and Diversity & Inclusion initiatives as required

* Raise risks and issues as appropriate to the Insights Manager

General Duties and Responsibilities

* Collaboration with key internal stakeholders across the UÉ business, including but not limited to;

* Asset Operations Regional teams, Performance Delivery team, Insights & Support team, Asset Operations Support teams

o Asset Operation's Integration Management Teams and Local Authority Water Services Staff

o UÉ Data Management and Reporting Teams

* Responsible for promoting and delivering health and safety commitments across UÉ and its supply chain, reinforcing positive behaviours and delivering health and safety objectives and requirements to the highest industry standards.

* Support the delivery of the Uisce Éireann Transformation Programme, driving results required within the Directorate and supporting organisation-wide objectives.

* Conducts duties and responsibilities in accordance with Uisce Éireann's Information Security policies, standards, processes and controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of UÉ business information, and delivery of critical services, in accordance with the NIS Directive and any other relevant cybersecurity regulation.

* Other duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

* Relevant third level qualification and or accreditation is desirable

* A minimum of 3 years' experience in the water, utilities or similar industries is desirable and or relevant experience

* Demonstrable experience of reporting development, analysis and insights across multiple operational areas

* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Power BI or other data visualisation tools

* Strong understanding of best-practice Enterprise Content Management (SharePoint)

* We work better together- ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders internally and externally

* We aim high- proven track record with dealing with complex issues, proactively and in a timely fashion along with the ability to communicate information to others

* Highly motivated individual, working to the highest professional standards and with proven ability to deliver results within a team.

* We do the right thing - strong analytical skills and ability to identify and analyse problems and potential improvements, and propose and implement solutions

* Demonstrate adaptability and the ability to change focus and direction in line with business strategy and requirements

* Proactively identifying new areas of improvement and using newly gained knowledge and skill on the job
