Job Overview
An Accountant is required to join a dynamic team in an accounting practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, focusing on audit, tax, and account preparation.
Responsibilities
* Prepare working papers and financial statements in accordance with applicable standards and internal procedures.
* Lead and conduct audits across a broad client base, in line with auditing standards and best practices.
* Prepare corporate and personal tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws.
* Investigate issues identified during engagements and propose effective solutions.
* Manage assignments to ensure completion within agreed deadlines.
* Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients.
* Deliver high-quality work in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
Requirements
* 3-5 years of experience in a public accounting firm or general accounting practice.
* ACA or ACCA qualification (or in progress).
* Strong technical knowledge of current accounting and auditing standards.
* Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
