As we continue to grow, we're looking for a
Network Engineer
to join our
Engineering & Services team
, supporting a variety of client environments, both in the field and from our labs and data centres.
About the Role
This is a hybrid, hands-on role where you'll spend roughly
60%
of your time in the field supporting customer networks and installations, and
40%
in office/lab/data center environments.
You'll work on a range of technologies across
voice, data, and network infrastructure
, with a particular focus on
structured cabling
,
routing & switching
, and
secure connectivity
.
What You'll Be Doing
* Install, maintain, and troubleshoot structured cabling systems
* Support, configure, and maintain client voice and data networks
* Perform on-site diagnostics, testing, and upgrades
* Respond to Level 1 & Level 2 support tickets alongside the service desk team
* Contribute to secure deployments across LAN/WAN environments
* Support projects involving Cisco, Microsoft, and cloud-based technologies
* Deliver excellent customer service while supporting clients across various industries
What You'll Need
* Proven experience with
structured cabling
,
network support
, and
on-site technical work
* Understanding of
routing, switching
, and
network security fundamentals
* Experience supporting voice & data systems in multi-site or SME environments
* Familiarity with Cisco, Microsoft, and cloud networking technologies
* Primary degree
in Telecoms, Networking, Engineering, or related discipline
* Cisco CCNA certification is an
advantage,
but not required
* Problem-solving and customer service skills
* Right to work in Ireland
