Matrix is currently recruiting for aProduction Operator for a leading manufacturing and innovation facility located in Wexford.
This role is a 12 month contract.

The role reports directly to the Production Manager and will operate on a two-cycle shift pattern:
* Day Shift: 7:00am – 3:00pm (2:00pm finish on Fridays)
* Evening Shift: 3:00pm – 11:00pm (9:00pm finish on Fridays)
Your New Job
Key duties & responsibilities:
* Operating production equipment and machinery across various stages of the process
* Preparing and maintaining equipment to meet hygiene and safety standards
* Maintaining accurate batch records in line with company quality protocols
* Conducting visual and functional checks to ensure final product quality
* Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and internal standard operating procedures
* Safeguarding confidential product information and proprietary processes
* Supporting team performance in a collaborative, safety-first work environment
* Flexibility is key in this role; operators may be required to support additional duties as needed across different production areas.
What We Are Looking For
* A Leaving Certificate or equivalent education
* 3+ years’ experience in a production or manufacturing environment (ideally in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical sector)
* Forklift licence/experience is very desirable but not essential
* Good computer literacy; experience with SAP or SCADA systems is a distinct advantage
* Proven ability to work in a team
* A methodical work approach with high attention to detail
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
