Community Development Associate
The Community Development Associate role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement comprehensive support programs for rural development, environmental initiatives, and social inclusion projects.
* Support and shadow the work of Development Officers in community, environmental, and economic development endeavors.
* Mentor local communities and voluntary groups to access available resources.
* Engage in outreach activities to support communities accessing relevant services and initiatives.
Main responsibilities include:
1. Fostering strategic partnerships and networks for collaborative growth.
2. Providing support to Development Officers and communities in Participative Community Socio-Environmental-Economic Planning processes.
3. Identifying and developing suitable responses to gaps in supports, skills, and services.
Key qualifications and experience required include a strong interest in community development, high level IT proficiency, and full clean driving licence. The position offers flexible working arrangements, a laptop, generous holiday entitlement, and company closure days.
