Barden have been engaged by one of the world's most recognised brands to identify a IT Project Manager to join their team on a DR contract basis. You will oversee the delivery of a diverse portfolio of technology initiatives across multiple locations and a central office function. These initiatives including network and connectivity upgrades, hardware refresh programs, system enhancements, and process standardisation projects.
The IT Project Manager will take full ownership of start to finish delivery - leading projects from initiation and planning through execution, transition to BAU, and post-implementation review.
Please note this role will require 3 days onsite in their Dublin HQ to begin with and occasional travel to their sites as required for project delivery.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure and network projects across multiple sites, including, cloud platforms, WAN/LAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, and telephony - ensuring scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Coordinate cross-functional technical teams and vendors, including infrastructure engineers, network architects, security specialists, and third-party providers, to deliver upgrades, migrations, rollouts, and site deployments with minimal business disruption.
Drive infrastructure strategy and standardisation by aligning projects with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity policies, capacity planning, and disaster recovery/business continuity requirements across all locations.
Manage risk, compliance, and governance by identifying technical and operational risks, overseeing change management processes, ensuring adherence to regulatory and security standards, and maintaining clear project reporting to senior stakeholders.
Oversee multi-site implementation and stakeholder engagement, working closely with regional IT leads and business units to coordinate site readiness, logistics, communications, cutover planning, and post-implementation support.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
5+ years' experience delivering IT projects or coordinating technology initiatives across multiple locations.
Demonstrated success managing infrastructure, networking, hardware refresh, or site-based technology implementations.
Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional technical teams and third-party suppliers.
Strong knowledge of project governance practices, schedule management, and risk/issue/control frameworks.
Experience operating in fast-paced, operationally complex environments (e.g. multi-site service, facilities, distribution, or similar sectors).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to various locations as required.
