As a Software Service Delivery Manager, you will act as the interface between Expleo's Account Managers, Operations management, consultants, and clients we serve. You will play an active role in creating a highly collaborative environment between Expleo and our clients. This involves managing and ensuring service delivery under four key pillars:

* Software Delivery Management

* Commercial Support
Your key responsibilities will include managing stakeholder satisfaction, identifying and mitigating delivery risks, and working closely with Expleo Operations & Heads of Service to assign the right team members to projects. You will also define roles, onboard new team members, and support Market Directors in the pre-sales process.

Responsibilities
* Client Collaboration:
* Build trusted advisor relationships with key client stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
* Manage the client relationship from a delivery perspective, supporting Expleo consultants to deliver at the highest standards.
* Participate in formal client progress review meetings, providing relevant reporting based on standard Expleo approaches.
* Analyse and report on client engagements, working with consultancy staff to learn and improve.
* Grow revenue by identifying opportunities and supporting Market Directors.
* Delivery Management:
* Oversee the implementation of the software delivery lifecycle.
* E nsure the software delivery team utilises optimal Ways of Working.
* Implement a 'build-measure-learn' cycle for improving delivery effectiveness and efficiency.
* Ensure timely, accurate, and insightful analysis and reporting.
* Challenge internal stakeholders to improve the overall delivery process.
* Deliver quality software adding value for our clients.
* Perform quality reviews of Expleo engagements as agreed with the Head of Delivery.
* Drive input and support material for new services related to Market Units sectors and marketing campaigns.
* People Management:
* Facilitate consultant appointments to project delivery teams.
* Report on new or changing resource requirements with clients.
* Liaise with Finance & Administration to ensure resourcing needs are entered into the resource planning system in a timely and accurate way.
* Work with HR, the Resource Team, and Changepoint Support to approve time, expense, holiday, and sickness requests.
* Ensure administration systems are up to date with consultant commitments.
* Work with the Consultancy Organisation to plan future resourcing needs on clients and ensure proactive rotation of Expleo staff meeting client criteria.
* Commercial Support:
* Minimise project costs and increase efficiency.
* Liaise with Market Directors, Legal, and Finance & Admin to ensure legal commercial coverage is in place across all client engagements.
* Participate in client planning processes, as performed across nominated Strategic Accounts.
* Work with Heads of Service to identify opportunities to develop and enhance Expleo Service offerings via Innovation Groups.
* Work with Market Directors, Head of Delivery, Heads of Service, consultancy organisation, and R&I function to drive input and support material for new services related to Market Units sectors and specific marketing campaigns.
* Work with the Director of Market and Account Managers to establish plans to improve profit margins when they are lower than required.
* Foster long-term commercially successful client relationships.
Qualifications
Essential skills
* In-depth knowledge of software engineering best practices and technology.
* Excellent knowledge and understanding of the software development and IT services industry, including outsourcing complexities.
* The ability to grow and maintain a network of contacts internally and externally.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Good written and presentational skills.
* Ability to pay attention to details, verify data against policies, and legal agreements.
* Excellent client-facing skills.
Experience
* Proven track record in client engagement and/or software programme delivery management with excellent software delivery skills.
* Extensive experience in organising, managing, and driving large software development programmes of high complexity.
* Previous Account Delivery Management experience.
* Knowledge of Test Consultancy Markets and Services desirable.
* Previous lead roles in major programmes.
* Broad knowledge of the full SDLC in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
* Previous commercial experience in a professional services engagement framework.
* Sales support skills, including previous experience of pre-sales situations (presentations and written). Good understanding of the legal framework around client consultancy and services engagements.
* Ability to present succinct summaries by analysing central delivery databases.
* Ability to multi-task and prioritise across multiple clients and activities.
* Ability to work in a matrix-management environment.
