Job Overview
As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing mechanical projects from design through to handover. This role requires strong technical and commercial acumen, excellent communication and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Management: Manage mechanical packages, including HVAC, piping, plant-rooms and renewables.
* Collaboration: Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to deliver projects on-time, within budget and to specification.
* Value Engineering: Review drawings and contractual documentation; implement value engineering and cost control.
* Leadership: Lead site teams, monitor progress, resolve issues and drive quality & safety standards.
* Project Reporting: Deliver project reporting, manage commissioning and oversee hand-over to client.
Requirements
1. A degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services is required.
2. 5+ years experience managing mechanical projects is essential.
3. Strong technical and commercial acumen, excellent communication and organisational skills are necessary.
4. Experience leading mechanical installation teams and multi-trade environments is preferred.
5. A valid driver's license is also required.
