We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated
Bar Manager

Key Responsibilities:
* Support the management team to ensure the smooth running of bar and overall hotel operations.
* Collaborate with other departments to deliver consistently high levels of guest service.
* Address guest queries promptly and courteously, ensuring a memorable experience.
* Champion service excellence and foster a positive, guest-focused culture.
* Solicit and respond to guest feedback to drive continuous improvement.
* Maintain clear communication with all departments, working closely with department heads.
* Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, HACCP, and all food & beverage regulations.
* Supervise and manage daily bar operations, ensuring adequate staffing levels and effective supervision.
* Maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards, ensuring cleaning schedules are adhered to.
* Manage complaints efficiently, ensuring professional and timely resolution.
* Ensure correct cash handling procedures and adherence to company policies.
* Manage bar inventory, conduct regular stock checks, and minimise waste.
* Drive sales through upselling, cross-selling, and creative promotional initiatives.
* Conduct staff training, coaching, performance reviews, and disciplinary procedures as required.
* Work in partnership with the People & Culture team to maintain Health & Safety standards.
* Lead by example in professionalism, personal presentation, and adherence to all Health & Safety and company policies.
Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience in a Bar Manager or Assistant Bar Manager role within a busy hotel or hospitality environment is essential.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* Proven ability to motivate and develop a team.
* Excellent knowledge of HACCP, licensing laws, and cash-handling procedures.
* A proactive and hands-on approach to service delivery.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
* Fluent English.
* Have full permission or hold a valid visa to work in the EU.
