About The Role:
Position: Mechanical Fitter
Location: Leixlip, County Kildare
Hours: 39 Hours per week
Salary: €25 hourly
Qualifications: National Craft Certificate
Experience: 5+ Years in a similar role
Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Fitter:
* Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment, including pumps, valves, and motors.
* Responsible for ensuring correct safety procedures, risk assessments, and quality standards.
* Fault-find and resolve mechanical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
* Collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality work and client support.
* Provide technical expertise and support on-site.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
Key Requirements of the Mechanical Fitter:
* Fully qualified Mechanical Fitter (National Craft Cert essential) 5+ years relevant industry experience.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, maintenance software, and troubleshooting.
* Ability to working independently, collaborating effectively within a team, and leading a team when required.
* Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
* Experience with CBM (Condition-Based Monitoring) and Laser Alignment is a plus.
