The Opportunity
We are looking for an Operational Excellence Senior Consultant with 4+ years experience who can help organisations maximise operational efficiency, embrace the digital agenda, and create great customer and employee experiences. You will provide structured problem‑solving, business analysis, analytics, design thinking and Lean process improvement to drive profitability and performance.
Your Key Responsibilities
Use structured problem‑solving, business analysis, analytics, design thinking and Lean process improvement to help our clients drive profitability and performance through their business operations.
Engage directly with senior client stakeholders to drive business outcomes, including facilitation of client workshops.
Work across the end‑to‑end project lifecycle, from business case development to project execution and close‑out.
Leverage EY’s digital, programme management, business process management, and global consulting network capabilities.
Collaborate with a global team of experts to develop innovative, game‑changing solutions and benefit from best‑in‑class operations‑focused training and development.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, including DMAIC and Value Stream Mapping.
Experience delivering projects using Agile and waterfall approaches.
Exceptional problem‑solving and creative thinking skills.
Experience in performance management.
Ability to structure and run observation studies and analyse large amounts of data.
Experience in business process management, improvement, and redesign.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Team player with independent thought.
Deadline‑driven, self‑driven, highly organised and able to multitask.
Experience developing analysis reports and presenting findings.
To Qualify for the Role
Lean Six Sigma qualification, Green Belt or above.
Strong academic record, including a relevant third‑level degree from a top university.
Strong numeric analysis, presentation, process mapping and requirement gathering skills.
Proven Microsoft Office experience.Management consulting experience is a benefit.
