Job Title: Experienced Legal Secretary
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Interaction: Handle phone enquiries with professionalism, manage client interactions, and provide exceptional customer service.
* Diary Management: Oversee and coordinate the scheduling of appointments, meetings, and court dates, ensuring efficient time management for the legal team.
* Administrative Support: Perform a variety of administrative tasks including scanning, photocopying, filing, file management, and archiving of legal documents.
* Document Preparation: Conduct audio transcription and general typing tasks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all legal documents and correspondence.
* Office Coordination: Assist with the smooth operation of the office, including managing office supplies, maintaining office equipment, and supporting other team members as needed.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a legal environment.
* Techincal Skills: Proficient in IT and typing, with a strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.
* Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
* Organisational Skills: Strong organisational abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all work.
