Event Crew - Gourmet Food Parlour (Santry, Dublin)

Gourmet Food Parlour is expanding its catering division and we are seeking friendly, professional Event Crew to join our team in Santry, Dublin. Please note: Applicants must be 23 years or older and hold a full, clean driver's license to be considered for this position (due to insurance requirements).

Role Overview: As part of our Event Crew, you will deliver high-quality food and catering services to various locations around Leinster, serving corporate clients, elite sports teams, and private events. The role involves both drop-off and buffet services, including the setup, service, and breakdown of events.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver food to multiple locations throughout the day.
* Set up and serve buffet-style events, ensuring a polished presentation.
* Assist with event setup and breakdown across various nationwide locations.
* Load and unload catering equipment and food supplies according to a set schedule.
* Provide excellent customer service and represent Gourmet Food Parlour with a friendly, professional attitude.
* Heavy lifting is required for equipment setup.

Essential Requirements:

* Must be 23 years or older (due to insurance requirements).
* Hold a full, clean driver's license.
* Previous experience in a hospitality or catering environment.
* Experience in food service.
* Fluent in English.
* Flexibility to work across a 40-hour week, including weekends and bank holidays.

Desirable Qualifications:

* HACCP and Food Safety certification.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Enthusiastic, energetic, and hardworking attitude.

* Lifting and carrying catering equipment to and from venues.
* Setting up buffet equipment and tables onsite.
* Cleaning up and dismantling after events.
* Occasional stair climbing may be required depending on the venue.
