Sr Process Engineer – Dexcom Deutschland GmbH, Athenry, Ireland
Dexcom Corporation (NASDAQ DXCM) is a pioneer and global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). We are expanding into a European manufacturing site in Athenry and seek a Sr Process Engineer to design, qualify, and improve manufacturing processes for replicate equipment.
Responsibilities
* Improve, optimize, and implement manufacturing process/assembly steps and operating procedures for replicate equipment and processes within a regulated quality system.
* Lead or support equipment/process qualifications including protocol development and execution.
* Develop and maintain project timelines, providing updates and feedback to project leadership.
* Apply problem‑solving skills to identify potential process risks, assess impact, and implement mitigation plans.
* Plan and perform Design of Experiments (DOE) and utilize Six Sigma methodologies to characterize, assess capabilities, and determine optimal processing operating windows.
* Consult with vendors to produce equipment, materials, and/or parts that meet specified product requirements.
* Perform statistically robust analysis of data and present findings to technical teams.
* Transfer process knowledge to receiving site operations teams and provide technical training.
* Assist in developing project timelines and provide technical updates to project leadership.
* Consult with AME Process Engineering in scaling up equipment and processes from prototype to pilot to full‑scale manufacturing.
* Assume and perform other duties as assigned.
What Makes You Successful
* Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 5‑8 years related experience, or a Master's degree and 2‑5 years equivalent experience, or a PhD and 0‑2 years experience.
* Ability to run self‑directed projects, maintain timelines, stay organized, and balance multiple activities in a fast‑paced environment.
* Ability to deal with ambiguity/uncertainty and a willingness to try new/challenging things.
* Proven ability to work hands‑on in a fast‑paced environment.
* Familiar with experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation of experiments; JMP, Statgraphics or Minitab preferred.
* Excellent communication (written and verbal) and personal interaction skills.
* Knowledge of high reliability, high volume manufacturing processes and designs.
