About the Role
Dream Point is Dublin's hottest 21,000 sq ft immersive adventure attraction (launched 2025).
We are looking for a full-time, on-site Communications Manager who will be the public face and voice of the experience every single day. This is a pure comms role focused on earned media, influencer partnerships, community building, kids' birthday parties, corporate & team-building events, and turning every guest comment (good and bad) into storytelling gold.
Key Responsibilities
* Own all external and internal communications for Dream Point.
* Secure ongoing coverage in Irish press, TV, radio, family blogs, corporate publications and international travel media.
* Host journalists, influencers, and content creators in-person – giving guided tours and creating live, authentic content on-site.
* Lead PR and storytelling for our two fastest-growing revenue streams: – Kids' birthday parties (themed packages, character appearances, viral parent reels) – Corporate events & team-building (evening buy-outs, branded activations, LinkedIn case studies)
* Capture and amplify real guest reactions daily – especially from kids, birthday families, and corporate groups – for Instagram, TikTok, and press.
* Own customer feedback loop: monitor reviews (Google, TripAdvisor, Trustpilot, on-site comment cards), respond personally, turn 5-star stories into media pitches and 1-star issues into rapid fixes + goodwill wins.
* Write and distribute press releases, guest testimonials, party/corporate case studies, and "feel-good" stories.
* Manage on-site community: greet birthday families and corporate groups, encourage tagged photos, run quick feedback sessions, and collect quotes on the spot.
* Handle crisis and issues management in real time (party booking errors, corporate tech fails, child safety concerns, etc.).
* Build relationships with Dublin schools, parent networks, HR managers, and event planners.
* Run the on-site media corner for interviews, live broadcasts, and quick photo/video shoots.
* Track and report: media value, review scores, party/corporate booking uplift, and sentiment from feedback.
Experience & Skills
* 4–7 years in communications/PR (agency or in-house).
* Strong writer – can switch from magical kids-party copy to professional corporate case studies instantly.
* Confident and energetic in a busy, child-filled environment; comfortable hosting media while kids run around.
* Calm under pressure – experience turning negative guest feedback into positive stories or swift recoveries.
* Available for evening corporate events and weekend birthday parties (flexible TOIL given).
Nice-to-Have
* Previous work with immersive attractions, soft-play venues, escape rooms, or team-building companies.
* Basic video editing (CapCut or similar) for quick party highlight reels.
