We are looking for an experience Waiter to join our energetic team. The Edge is one of the most sought after restaurant in the West of Clare .
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning & Maintenance
* Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming inside & outside the premises
* Cleaning windows, furniture (tables, chairs, booths, shelves, mirrors, framed photos) bottles and other surfaces
* Ensuring restrooms are clean and stocked, throughout the day
* Emptying trash and bottle bins
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Prepping Stations:
* Turn on: lights, music, boiler, glasswasher, coffee machine etc
* Set up: Condiments filled, cutlery polished, tables set, jugs & ice filled, stations tidied and stocked with side plates & napkins
* Set up bread station
* Candles light if needed
* Spray bottles filled
Customer Service:
* Providing a positive first impression and assisting customers with their needs
* Guiding guests to tables in a restaurant setting
* Addressing customer queries in a timely and professional manner
* Answering questions about products, services, or the establishment
* Ensuring a positive and pleasant environment for all visitors
* Managing table bookings and seating arrangements
Other ad hoc duties:
* Ensuring smooth communication and coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
* Report for duty as scheduled, on time, wearing the designated uniform, and maintaining a professional look at all times
* Ensure that the chef and the Food & Beverage manager are informed of any particular requirements, dietary restrictions, allergies, etc. of our customers.
* Ensure the venue looks clean & tidy at all times
* Adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures. Notifying supervisors of any maintenance or repair needs
* Before leaving duty, make sure that every location is ready for the upcoming service period
* Follow daily and weekly checklist
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term
Pay: €14.00-€16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
