Job Title: Accountant (6-Month Contract)Department: FinanceLocation: Bray Office (Hybrid – minimum 2 days in office)Reports To: Finance ManagerJob PurposeThe Accountant will support the Finance team in managing core accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and compliance with statutory requirements. This role offers exposure to a multinational corporate environment and contribute to the integrity of financial data.Key Responsibilities· Execute month-end routines, including accruals, prepayments, and GL reconciliations.· Prepare and submit VAT returns in different countries in compliance with local regulations.· Manage Inter-entity transactions and reconciliations.· Manage Leases and related reconciliations.· Clear inventory in-transit accounts and resolve discrepancies.· Collaborate in the preparation of quarterly forecast.· Prepare CSO and IDA returns.· Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting (Auditors, International Tax Department, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality).Experience· Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational corporation (MNC) environment.· Experience with ERP systems. SAP S4/Hana is a requirement.· Strong knowledge of month-end closing processes and VAT compliance.Required Qualifications· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.· Professional qualification (or part-qualified) such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent is desirable.Skills & Competencies· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.· Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.· Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.· Effective communication and collaboration skills.· Interest in international manufacturing, distribution and logistics.Employment TypeFixed-Term Contract – 6 MonthsAdditional InformationExposure to multinational corporate processes and systems.
