Head of Finance – FMCG / Manufacturing (SME Focus)

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Head of Finance to join a growing SME within the FMCG / Manufacturing sector, based in West Dublin.
This is a key leadership role, ideal for a candidate currently operating at a similar level within a comparable environment who is looking to make a meaningful impact on business performance and strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the full finance function, ensuring robust financial control and governance across the business
Partner with senior leadership to drive strategic growth, providing insightful financial analysis and guidance
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning processes
Develop, mentor, and strengthen a high-performing finance team
Implement and improve financial systems, processes, and controls in line with business growth
Support commercial decision-making with clear, data-driven insights
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory reporting requirements
Requirements
Proven experience in a Head of Finance (or equivalent senior finance leadership) role within FMCG or Manufacturing
Strong background in SMEs; candidates from large multinationals without SME exposure will not be considered
Demonstrated expertise in financial control, team leadership, and process improvement
Track record of contributing to the strategic growth and scaling of a business
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at senior level
Hands-on approach with the flexibility to operate both strategically and operationally
