Our client is a looking for a Housekeeper to come and manage the housekeeping duties within a large stately home located on a large estate.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will be an experienced housekeeper with a background working in private estates or private homes. Demonstrated ability to take initiative and proactively manage tasks is essential for success in this role. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Housekeeper Lead, who will provide daily guidance on key responsibilities, while also allowing room for independent and autonomous work as required. This role will require weekend work and also offers accommodation if required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cooking and cleaning duties
2. Front of house/reception duties
3. Organising large functions for entertainment purposes
4. Stocking the pantry and fridges for the family
5. Washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens
Skills
* 5 - 10 years' experience in the household industry.
* Extensive experience in housekeeping and working in a private house or estate.
* Strong communication skills for liaising with external stakeholders e.g. catering companies.
* Good time management skills alongside the ability to work with the estate team.
* Taking the initiative and being ahead of the game.
* Absolute discretion and confidentiality is essential.
