Job Title: National Account Manager – Discounters & E-Commerce (EU)

Reports To:Sales Director
We are conducting a search on behalf of a leading FMCG business for a high-performing National Account Manager to take ownership of a strategically important portfolio across European Discounters, Hard Discounters, select Wholesale accounts, and potentially Amazon/E-commerce.
Key Responsibilities:
* Full P&L responsibility for a portfolio of high-value accounts including:
o EU Discounters:
o Hard Discounters:
o Wholesale:
o E-commerce:
Build strong customer relationships, develop tailored JBPs, and drive long-term growth
* Lead annual negotiations, promotional planning, and demand forecasting
* Work cross-functionally with Category, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Finance teams
* Potential line management of a National Account Executive (NAE) supporting Amazon
* Identify white space and optimise pricing and promotional levers for ROI
* Contribute to commercial strategy and support wider team initiatives
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Proven success managing Discounters at a national or EU level – Aldi and Lidl experience is essential
* Experience with Hard Discount and Wholesale channels is highly desirable
* Exposure to Amazon or broader E-commerce platforms is a strong advantage
* Previous line management or coaching experience preferred
* Highly commercial with strong negotiation skills and strategic thinking
* Resilient, entrepreneurial, and excited by broad scope and ownership
* Ambitious, with a clear trajectory toward SNAM and eventual Sales Director roles
