We are looking for an experienced Head of Maintenance to join our team in our 24/7 commercial laundry.
Responsibilities:
* Strong diagnostic skills and confident to work on your own with all systems and equipment within the factory.
* Proven electrical and mechanical maintenance skills with a minimum of 3 years in an industrial processes environment.
* Contribution to the efficiency of the operation by identifying preventative maintenance tasks to avoid costly breakdowns for the equipment.
* Installation of any new equipment when upgrading.
* Compliance with quality, safety & environmental management systems and procedures.
* Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring and equipment.
* Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment.
* Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools and specifications.
* Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
* Advising management on continued use of unsuitable equipment.
* Ordering of electrical supplies and equipment.
Essential Criteria:
* Electrical qualification (City & Guilds level 3 and above or NVQ Qualified equivalent).
* Time-served, maintenance electrical engineer apprentice.
* A good mix of electrical and general mechanical experience.
* Working knowledge and experience of processing plant from boilerhouse to PLC and remote I/O.
* Ability to diagnose electrical faults and work under pressure.
* Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
* Flexibility in working hours.
* IT Literacy – must be familiar with MS Outlook, Word and Excel.

Pay: From €70,000.00 per year
Schedule:
* 8/12 hour shift
* Weekend availability
