Responsibilities
As a Tax Associate, you will be trained and developed in terms of taxpliance and consultancy in the following areas:
1. Preparation of taxputations, personal tax returns and corporation tax returns for our ie tax and corporation tax clients
2. Research, review and interpretation of tax legislation, Revenue guidance and published papers
3. Assisting in the preparation of tax consultancy reports and responding to client queries
4. Working with international clients on global tax issues setting up newpanies in foreign countries
5. Reviewing tax issues around potential succession planning passing on a business to the next generation and the tax implications that should be considered
6. Attending client meetings along with more senior staff members to obtain one-to-one client interaction skills
7. Working alongside our experienced tax team, gaining training across all tax heads.
8. Identifying tax planning opportunities for clients
