Job Description:
Business Excellence Specialist

As a Business Excellence Specialist, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement across the organization. You will work closely with site-based stakeholders and the Business Excellence team to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to implement change.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide support in operational excellence and continuously improving the LEAN maturity of the site.
2. Contribute to the development of strategy focused on embedding a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement across the Tirln business.
3. Ensure that the site daily management system (3 M), KPI reviews and continuous improvement forums are embedded at all levels of the site.
4. Lead the RCA process and ensure its effectiveness in the elimination of waste in the site processes.
5. Cooking and mentoring of employees at all levels in the use of LEAN systems & tools.
6. Facilitating the development, implementation & governance of business process improvement projects.
7. Building and maintaining effective working relationships across the business to ensure appropriate alignment with business process improvement projects.
8. Proactively working with people in all areas of the business to seek out opportunities for the elimination of waste and non-value added activity.
Requirements:
* Third-level qualification or relevant experience in Lean, Six Sigma, Process Improvement, Project Management.
* Lean Six Sigma Green belt or Black belt certified is a distinct advantage.
* Must have experience in a lean environment in a manufacturing organisation - hands-on experience utilizing lean tools in an effective manner.
* Knowledge of the Shingo mode, experience in change management and/or Project Management are an advantage.
