Continuous Professional Development The successful Psychologist will: The successful Psychologist's primary focus will be on paediatric assessments with options to deliver intervention and bespoke projects where suitable. Reporting to the Principal Psychologist, you will play a key role in delivering impactful psychological support. As a psychologist you will: Provide a quality Psychology Assessment Service the children and families allocated to you. Be responsible for the provision of a high-quality Psychology service in accordance with standards of professional practice in Constellation Healthcare Lead complex psychological assessments, including neurodevelopmental, cognitive, behavioural. Be responsible for the carrying out of Assessments and working with other clinicians to determine outcome and results. Support and supervise junior psychology staff. Attend an MDT meeting to discuss findings, recommendations and complete the Summary Report. Lead the assessment process through MDT and Clinical Governance Feedback. Eligibility Criteria: Have a university degree or diploma (QQ1 level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject. Have an Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology Or An equivalent qualification from another jurisdiction validated by the Department of Health. Application for this post must be inclusive of letter of validation. And Demonstrate expertise in working conducting paediatric assessments, along with a strong understanding of interdisciplinary collaboration and family-centred practice. Exhibit a high level of suitability for effectively fulfilling the responsibilities of the role. A minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience in the area of professional psychology. Experience in Autism assessments Strong report writing skills Experience in delivering clinical supervision Strong proficiency in writing clear, concise, and well-structured reports is essential.
