Job Title: Project Coordinator
Role and Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with project teams to establish a comprehensive project plan.
* Ensure alignment with NEC contract requirements and Framework agreement necessities.
* Maintain an up-to-date project program, incorporating input from various stakeholders.
* Coordinate monthly updates from project teams, including subcontractors' contributions.
* Publish regular reports for the team and client, providing detailed narratives.
* Accurately load costs and resources onto the project program.
* Partner with estimating and commercial teams on tender projects.
* Prepare and distribute monthly progress reports.
* Monitor and track change control measures effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitate communication between project teams to solidify the baseline program.
* Liaise with the client's planning manager to ensure seamless coordination.
* Closely monitor and track project progress throughout all phases with the project team.
* Compile weekly or monthly reports as per project requirements.
* Distribute updated program information in accordance with contract specifications.
* Assess subcontractors' performance against the project program.
* Attend collaborative meetings with clients and subcontractors.
* Break down specific tasks as necessary based on project demands.
* Report changes to the project manager for acceptance.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in project planning.
* Proficient in using Primavera P6 software.
* Hold certification in Primavera P6 or possess demonstrable experience.
* Familiarity with working within multidisciplinary teams.
* Working knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts.
* Demonstrated understanding of construction methods.
