We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Foreman to oversee and coordinate activities on our construction projects in Dublin.
Responsibilities
Health & Safety
Ensure all site operations are carried out in compliance with company Health & Safety policies and legal requirements.
Deliver daily site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
Monitor subcontractors' compliance with safety procedures and address issues promptly.
Quality & Environmental
Ensure works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Identify and rectify defects quickly, ensuring client sign-off.
Support environmental standards on-site, including proper waste management.
Planning & Coordination
Supervise and coordinate site labour, subcontractors, and plant/equipment.
Contribute to short-term lookahead programmes and ensure site targets are achieved.
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to resolve issues.Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate site records including diaries, labour returns, and plant logs.
Ensure RAMS, permits, and other documentation are in place before works begin.
Provide regular progress updates to the Site Agent/Project Manager.
Commercial Awareness
Monitor productivity, materials, and resource usage to control costs.
Be aware of the impact of delays, variations, or rework on programme and budget.
People Management
Lead, motivate, and coordinate site teams to achieve daily and weekly goals.
Communicate clearly with staff, subcontractors, and management.
Identify and mentor potential talent within the workforce.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Foreman/Site Supervisor role on similar projects in Ireland or the UK.
Strong knowledge of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
Completed Site Safety Supervisor Programme (or equivalent).
Full clean driving licence.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proficient in spoken and written English.
