Overview
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Project Coordinator to oversee a variety of company projects, ranging from office construction and refurbishments to software rollouts and systems implementation. This is a permanent or part-time position based in our Clane office, with travel to locations nationwide as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage all company projects from initiation to completion, e.g., the rental of houses for overseas workers.
* Work closely with the Financial Controller and Operations Director to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Conduct site visits, and ensure works are carried out to required standards.
* Undertake basic handywork and minor repairs where necessary.
* Procure goods and services competitively, ensuring value for money, e.g., training instruments.
* Manage project-related accounts and monitor budgets and spending.
* Maintain regular reporting and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure health and safety compliance across all sites and projects.
Requirements
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Comfortable with hands-on tasks and minor maintenance duties.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
* Proficiency in MS Office; experience with project management tools a bonus.
Desirable
* Background in procurement or facilities management.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Salary: 34,000–38,000 per year, depending on experience.
