is a growing, purpose-driven company operating in the renewable energy and sustainability space project funding space. We are now seeking a
Part-Time Financial Accountant
to take ownership of core accounting and compliance activities and to support the Finance Director as the business continues to scale.
This role would suit a
qualified accountant
or a
highly experienced Accounts Technician
with a strong track record in accurate financial reporting, payroll, and tax compliance. Attention to detail is paramount.
Hours can be structured to suit the successful candidate, making this an ideal opportunity for someone seeking a senior, hands-on role on a part-time basis.
As the company and its revenue streams grow, there is
clear potential for this role to expand over time
(if desired).
Key Responsibilities
* Maintenance of accurate accounting records
* Processing purchase invoices and payments
* Monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations
* VAT, PAYE and RCT returns
* Payroll processing
* Preparation of management accounts
* Completion of accounts up to trial balance
* Ongoing support to the Finance Director
About You
* Qualified accountant
or
highly experienced Accounts Technician
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Comfortable working independently and managing deadlines
* Strong Excel and accounting software skills
* Reliable, organised, and proactive
