We are seeking a Junior Engineer to support packaging equipment operations. This role is well-suited to someone early in their engineering career who is looking to gain hands-on experience in maintenance systems, equipment support, and project work within a GMP-regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in developing and maintaining a system for managing equipment spare parts in collaboration with the Maintenance team.
* Help identify and source equipment parts from vendors.
* Support coordination with external contractors and vendors for specialised maintenance tasks.
* Contribute to reviewing and updating preventative maintenance tasks based on equipment performance.
* Assist with implementing improvements to increase equipment uptime.
* Take part in site change control processes for equipment modifications.
* Provide support to internal and external project teams.
* Maintain a strong focus on safety and GMP compliance in all work.
Requirements:
* Degree in engineering, science, or a related technical discipline.
* 1–2 years’ experience in a technical or engineering role (graduate or internship experience is acceptable).
* Exposure to packaging equipment or pharmaceutical manufacturing is an advantage.
* Some experience working in cross-functional teams in a regulated environment.
* Basic understanding of cGMP and EHS principles.
* Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
