J C Kieran and Son Solicitors are looking for a Conveyancing Solicitor to join their team. The successful solicitor will become a valuable member of staff and will work with experienced practitioners and excellent support staff at the office in Castle Street, Ardee, Co. Louth. This role would be suitable for a qualified solicitor with minimum two years’ experience.
The primary role:
You will manage a varied caseload of conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion. This includes:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
- Mortgages and Security.
- Title checks, raising queries, and drafting contracts.
- Short-term and long-term leases.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents and lenders.
- Ensuring transactions proceed smoothly and efficiently.
The role will allow for development in other areas of practice and not solely in conveyancing as the practice provides client services in probate, estates, litigation, employment and family law.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience in conveyancing matters.
- Have excellent computer skills and a knowledge of legal management software (KeyHouse an advantage).
- Have strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to communicate and a willingness to learn.
- Detail orientated and be capable of working to deadlines.
- Be organised and have good diary and file management skills.
- Be committed to working as part of a team and will actively engage with the culture and core values.
