Opportunity to join well established FDA global manufacturing organisation in Cork, recently announced large expansion to the facility. Reporting to Global Head in UK and part of the local SLT.
Responsible for transforming the Cork site into a model of LEAN excellence. Hands-on experience in applying Lean principles and driving continuous improvement will be essential to your success in this critical leadership position.
Coach Lean Manufacturing principles and behaviours to our plant leadership teams in the use of Lean tools and the simplification methodology to drive significant business impact & to lead the coaching culture.
Develop Lean capabilities by training and coaching key team members to build Lean muscle within the organisation.
Experience
Relevant degree, ideally Masters with experience leading large Lean transformational rollout within complex systems, matrix organisations with multiple stakeholders.
Experience in highly regulated industries (cGMP).
Proven success in leading significant business process improvement. LEAN/Six Sigma trained with the ability to apply tools and process rigor.
Proven successful application of Lean tools: 80/20, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Standard Work, FMEA, Problem Solving, Kanban, Visual Daily Management, Policy Deployment.
