About THE ROLE

As the world of retail evolves, our stores must set the tone of what our two brands are all about. Irrespective of where a purchase occurs, our stores are a window to our great brands. Locations must deliver the first-class experience and in-store standards should always be maintained. The Assistant Manager plays a key role in achieving these standards, leads by example, embraces our entrepreneurial spirit and inspires their teams through their passion and belief in our brands.
Responsibilities
Lead store teams to generate sales and profit, minimize losses, and create the best possible customer experience while ensuring the store is visually distinctive and impeccably maintained.
Identify opportunities to grow the business and improve performance through collaboration with others.
Maintain corporate visual merchandising directives and standards for sales floor and back room.
Work with the visual merchandising team to ensure clear communication between VM and store teams.
Partner with the store management team to build on business opportunities and achieve company standards and objectives.
Focus staff on building quality relationships with customers and ensure accountability in creating a repeat customer base by delivering unparalleled service.
Complete daily/weekly store walkthroughs; evaluate product performance, pricing, service levels and inventory.
Communicate sales drivers and priorities to the Store Manager and develop strategies to maximize business; implement weekly visual presentation action plans.
Analyze store-level reports and create action plans to improve results.
Assist with manpower planning, recruitment, interviewing and hiring processes; recruit store personnel with diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
Work with the Store Manager to build bench strength for key positions, including potential successors.
Participate in weekly management meetings and other staff meetings.
Communicate store and individual sales goals and performance expectations; provide guidance on improving performance.
Provide a great customer journey and strive for exemplary mystery shopper results.
