Key Responsibilities and Duties: Accounting & Reporting Take ownership of single entity accounts and key group account headings Preparation of group management accounts including variance analysis Maintain high-quality documentation and records in compliance with internal controls Process Improvement & Performance Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency across Departments. Develop and track key performance indicators for the department Training and development of other team members Business Partnering & Commercial Focus Work closely with internal departments to provide financial insight to support business decisions Ensure sustainability is core to all analysis and decision making Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in all areas of the business Contribute to forecasting and budgeting processes with a strong focus on commercial drivers Demonstrate strong commercial awareness and contribute to strategic financial planning Compliance & Controls Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, and other statutory returns Develop and ensure compliance with internal controls and group policies Work closely with other departments. to complete required reporting under relevant accreditations Key Skills and Competencies: Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) 23 years of relevant experience in a similar finance/accounting role Integrated system experience SAP Business One, Sage etc. MS Office with a strong focus on Excel, Email and Word Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
