The role will lead the operational planning and in-camp execution for the Women's National Team (WNT) and oversee the operations across all Women's Underage National Teams.Working closely with the International Operations Manager, Head Coach, backroom staff and Football Department, the postholder will ensure that all operational elements meet the highest professional standards, are aligned with best-practice principles, and support optimal team performance on and off the pitch. The role includes direct line management of Team Operations Coordinators.The role will involve significant domestic and international travel, both in preparation for and during team camps.Key ResponsibilitiesWomen's National Team Planning & DeliveryLead the full operational planning, organisation and delivery of all WNT activity.Develop and manage project plans for all fixtures, camps and competitions.Ensure all operational tasks and timelines are delivered to a high standard.Produce detailed operational plans to support smooth, professional in-camp environments.Team Operations ManagementLine manage the Team Operations Coordinator assigned to the WNT.Work closely with the Head Coach to align schedules, operational needs and best-practice processes.Coordinate the annual WNT schedule across matches, tournaments, camps and friendly fixtures.Logistics & Site ManagementConduct site visits to match venues, training grounds, hotels and airports.Oversee equipment logistics including procurement, transport, storage, shipping and customs.Coordinate operational support for visiting teams when required.International Travel & Camp SupportAct as Away Team Manager for senior women's internationals held outside Ireland.Lead in-camp operational delivery with the Team Operations Coordinator.Ensure seamless movement, scheduling and elite support across travel, accommodation, meals, recovery and communication.Administration & ComplianceOwn and manage the annual WNT budget.Maintain detailed knowledge of FIFA and UEFA regulations.Liaise with UEFA, FIFA, clubs and other international associations on competition and administrative matters.Ensure all operational outputs meet governance, regulatory and safeguarding requirements.Women's Underage National TeamsManagement & LeadershipProvide direct line management to Team Operations Coordinators for underage women's teams.Lead performance reviews and ensure staff receive appropriate training and support.Scheduling & Fixture CoordinationOversee planning and scheduling for all underage women's international fixtures.Attend UEFA Women's Draws and negotiate fixture arrangements and mini-tournament hosting.Financial OversightManage budgets across all women's international teams.Ensure all activity is delivered within approved financial parameters.Policies, Procedures & GovernanceSupport development and implementation of departmental policies and operational procedures.Ensure consistent standards and adherence across all women's international activity.Represent the Association in emergency response processes relating to women's international football.Player Administration & RecordsMaintain detailed internal records including caps, team history and player information.Support player eligibility cases in line with regulations.Cross-Department CoordinationWork closely with the Football Department to promote a high-performance operational culture.Liaise with Communications, Medical, High-Performance, Marketing and other key departments.ReportingPrepare regular reports for the Director of International Operations, Senior Leadership Team and the FAI Board.Person SpecificationA strategic and proactive leader.Demonstrates strong communication and relationship-building skills.Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple workstreams.Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence and unite stakeholders in a multidisciplinary environment.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with changing priorities.Committed to inclusivity, fairness, and supporting coaches of all backgrounds.Professional, credible, and capable of representing the organisation at a national levelExperience and QualificationsEssential:Demonstrated project management experience.Experience working within a complex environment and managing a high-volume workload.Strong budgetary management skills & experience.Methodical with a high level of attention to detail.Familiarity with inventory management and reporting systemsAn ability to think proactively.
