OverviewBranch Manager – Galway Fixed term contract at AXA IrelandReporting to the Regional ManagerResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of the Branch Sales Office to achieve performance targets: sales revenue, premium & PIF growth, staff engagement, customer service excellence, compliance & quality.Lead proactive local affinity, agriculture and commercial development, coaching staff and driving performance management.Promote a One‑Stop AXA Shop for retail and commercial insurance, supporting full resource utilisation through footfall, inbound/outbound telephony and fulfilment activity.Facilitate customer‑first convenience and self‑service, eliminating inefficient branch activities.Engage stakeholders omni‑channel (MS Teams, phone, branch visit, field call) aligned to customer profile.Support cross‑functional departmental projects and provide market trend insights.QualificationsMCC Qualified in Personal & Commercial General Insurance (essential)Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar or financial services role with proven team management (essential)Full clean driving licence (essential)Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites – Word, Excel & Outlook (essential)Strong network‑building with key stakeholders across the businessClear understanding of performance management, branch administration and regulatory requirementsEligibility & ConditionsAllocated Controlled Function under Fitness & Probity Regime – enhanced background screening required.Must be eligible and authorised to work in the Republic of Ireland.Recruitment campaign supports permanent, temporary and extension positions.ApplicationComplete the application process on our careers page.
