Opportunity for a Mechanical Supervisor to join the Life Science team in Dublin.
The Mechanical Supervisor will report to the MEP Supervisor and will oversee and participate in the planning, execution, and evaluation of mechanical walkdown activities on various projects. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and project timelines while leading a team of technicians and contractors, with pharmaceutical experience preferred.

* Perform thorough walkdowns of mechanical systems and facilities.
* Verify that installations meet project specifications and quality standards.
* Identify and document discrepancies, deficiencies, or safety hazards.
* Create detailed reports of walkdown findings, including photographs and annotations.
* Maintain accurate records of inspections and walkdowns.
* Submit reports to stakeholders and follow up on corrective actions.
* Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and technical teams to address findings.
* Communicate effectively with team members to ensure understanding of issues and actions required.
* Participate in project meetings to provide updates on walkdown status.
* Ensure all work complies with project specifications, safety standards, and regulations.
* Conduct follow-up inspections to verify corrective actions.
* Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures.
* Provide training on walkdown procedures and standards.
* Stay updated on industry best practices and inspection techniques.
Qualifications and skills:
* Experience in walkdowns, inspections, or similar roles.
* Experience with mechanical systems and pharmaceutical projects.
* Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficient in inspection tools and software.
* Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
* Ability to work in various environmental conditions.
* Physical ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Quality Inspector) preferred.
* Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to sites.
