Job Description:
The primary objective of this role is to lead the administration and renewal team in the Personal Lines division, ensuring efficient post management, renewal process management, and completion of insurer/internal audits.
This involves supporting the implementation of changes to achieve continuous improvement in processes, workflows, and cost reduction while maintaining 'best practices.'
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement company compliance and office procedures, business development, and renewal procedures including debt management.
* Manage all Personal Lines incoming and outgoing post and distribute it to relevant handlers.
* Collaborate with Personal Lines executives to manage the centralised Personal Lines inbox.
* Distribute renewal lists to ensure all processes are followed and renewals are issued within regulatory timelines.
* Manage Personal Lines cash books.
* Ensure team targets and objectives are achieved.
* Stay up-to-date with market practices and product availability, providing feedback to management on market issues, including pricing, service levels, and product development.
* Maintain the Personal Lines account and expand the team.
* Conduct audits for the Personal Lines division.
* Oversee the service delivery for the Premium Finance book.
* Attend weekly/monthly meetings as required.
* Efficiently manage the workload for the Personal Lines administration and renewals team.
* Manage leave within the team to maintain optimum staffing levels for operations.
* Lead, motivate, and develop direct reporting staff through regular 121s and annual PDR discussions.
* Perform individual performance management to maintain and improve productivity and quality.
* Be a point of contact for queries from team members and additional teams.
* Train new team members and develop procedures with HR and Compliance to maintain skills matrix requirements.
* Liaise with HR on people-related issues in conjunction with department directors.
* Develop team members through professional qualifications/continuous learning.
* Ensure team members meet CPD requirements annually by conducting regular checks and arranging CPD sessions.
* Ensure compliance within the team regarding CBI rules.
