This role is based on a Data Centre in Portugal with a leading Irish Mechanical Contractor.If you are an Engineering Lead who is looking for your next career move, send your CV to Kate O’Herlihy or call 086 825 5161 for a confidential discussion.ResponsibilitiesLead mechanical construction activities on siteCoordinate between mechanical, electrical, and other disciplinesManage and mentor site-based engineers and area teamsMonitor construction progress against programmeResolve engineering queries and site issuesCoordinate with offsite fabrication and installation teamsOversee piping systems from fabrication through to installation and testingRequirements7+ years’ mechanical engineering experience2+ years in a lead or supervisory roleStrong piping knowledge (P&IDs, isometrics essential)Experience on construction-stage mechanical projectsBackground in pharma, biotech or semiconductor projects.Experience working with mechanical contractors preferredProficient in Navisworks or similar toolsBenefitsSalary: €80,000 – €100,000 DOEGenerous living away allowance in addition to salaryFlights & AccommodationIn country travel providedPensionHealthcare schemeAll applications will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
