The Australian Research Centre for Cancer Survivorship, established through a 10‑year partnership between Cancer Council NSW and UNSW Sydney, aims to advance health and prosperity for all cancer survivors through innovative and impactful research in all areas of cancer survivorship. Working in partnership with survivors, researchers, clinicians and community, the Centre will co‑design, evaluate and implement evidence‑based interventions to improve care, wellbeing and survivorship outcomes, guiding practice, services and policy across NSW and serving as a model nationally and internationally.

Role

* Person‑Centred Care in Cancer Survivorship – advancing holistic, equitable and empowering models of care that place survivors at the heart of the health system.
* Behaviour and Health – exploring behavioural, psychological and social factors that help cancer survivors maintain and improve their wellbeing after diagnosis.
* Survivorship Epidemiology – investigating long‑term health outcomes, quality of life, and disparities in survivorship through large‑scale and data‑driven research.
* Precision Survivorship – pioneering tailored approaches to survivorship care informed by molecular, genetic, behavioural and environmental factors.
