Job Summary
Audiovisual Installation Specialist performs installation tasks for various projects, including cable pulling, connector installation, mounting, and metal fabrication.
Key Responsibilities
1. Install audio visual systems, handling tasks such as cable management, connector assembly, and project mounting.
2. Analyze electronic schematics and architectural blueprints to inform installation decisions.
3. Utilize hand and power tools to complete tasks like soldering, crimping, and AV system maintenance.
4. Support mechanical fabrication and basic rack wiring efforts.
5. Travel to job sites as required to ensure timely completion of installations.
6. Perform other duties assigned by supervisors or team leads.
Requirements and Skills
1. Demonstrate effective communication with colleagues, customers, and employees.
2. Maintain a safe and efficient working environment when using hand and power tools.
3. Show independence in work while meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks.
4. Develop and apply basic computer skills.
5. Apply minor programming knowledge in AMX/Creston systems for troubleshooting and changes.
Candidate Profile
1. Possess formal education in Electronics or a related field (preferred).
2. Hold a minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
3. Obtain and maintain a valid Driver's License and meet AVI-SPL Driving Privileges standards.
Work Environment

Physical Demands
The position requires the ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds, climb ladders up to 20 feet tall, and work in confined spaces and on uneven surfaces.
