Our Client, a family-owned specialist designer and manufacturer of packaged products, who specialise in the waste water/sewage sector, is seeking to recruit an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all domestic sales, customer interaction, and quotations. They will work closely with the directors, consulting engineers, and contractors while maintaining high quality and client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities:
1. Customer interaction, both remote and in person, with Consulting Engineers and Contractors, including presentations and building relationships to position our company as the design partner of choice.
2. Preparation of quotations and customised process descriptions, liaising with design, manufacturing, and procurement divisions, overseeing installations, and ensuring satisfactory project completion including payments.
3. Maintaining relationships and performance after sales completion.
4. The Commercial Manager will report to the Directors and be a member of the Management Team, attending all meetings including the monthly Management Review Committee (MRC) and weekly Sales Meetings.
5. Providing input into all areas of the business, including design and R&D.
6. Liaising with the Manufacturing Team as required.

1. Analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
2. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
3. Ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty by overseeing service quality.
4. Monitoring sales activity, pipeline, and performance against targets.
5. Preparing and presenting regular sales reports to senior management.
6. Securing meetings with potential customers both in person and virtually.
7. Attending site visits as required for projects.
8. Representing the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
9. Having a flexible and adaptable mindset.
Qualifications:
1. A third-level qualification in Building, Business, or related areas (preferable).
2. At least 3 years of sales experience.
3. Experience and relationships within the Irish Construction Industry.
4. Experience in the sewage/wastewater industry (preferable).
5. Excellent spoken and written English skills.
6. A proven track record of generating profitable sales and building relationships.
7. A positive attitude and the ability to work on own initiative.
