Responsibilities
Deal mainly with Food & Beverage telephone calls and e-mails in a friendly manner
Manage Irish Night Online Bookings & ensure quality check on existing reservations
Assist other departments such as Restaurant, Front Office with reservation related questions
Follow up on late cancellations and no-show bookings
Ensure correct management of reservation documents
Work closely with the revenue manager to ensure efficient running of the department
Manage guests' reservations, ensuring that their needs and wants are met to the highest standard
Give details of hotel facilities and pricing information
Upsell other areas of the hotel or other properties in the group
Ensure expectations are set correctly in advance of the guest's stay
Requirements
Previous experience in F&B department
Computer literacy required
Positive attitude, willing to learn
Real hospitality professional who wants to work their way up
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Outstanding communication skills
Capability to remain calm and perform well under pressure
Experience in a 3/4-star hotel desired but not essential
