Internationally we export some 240 different products to over 100 countries worldwide.The Group's Agribusiness Division (Lakeland Agri) operates a state-of-the-art Animal Feed Manufacturing Facility and is a leading and innovative provider of the highest quality feeds and agricultural inputs to dairy, beef, and sheep farmers across the north and south of Ireland.About the RoleAs a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for microbiological sampling, testing, analysis, and recording of results throughout the production process. Your work will help ensure our products meet legal, company, and customer standards. You'll also support internal and external audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare media and maintain accurate records.Conduct microbiological analysis of powder, butter, cream, and environmental samples.Prepare and dispatch samples for pathogen testing; manage requisitions via SAP.Perform daily water analysis and environmental monitoring.Calibrate and verify product test equipment.Conduct QC checks and shelf-life analysis.Maintain and develop LIMS (Micro) systems.Participate in proficiency testing and method validation.Support internal audits and regulatory/customer audit preparation.Ensure compliance with GLP, health & safety, and data protection policies.Maintain a clean, audit-ready work environment.Engage in ongoing training and development.What We're Looking ForA third-level qualification in a science-related field is essential.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Experience with SAP and LIMS is an advantage.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and organisational skills.To apply, please e-mail your CV to Conor McIntyre, Senior Talent Acquisition Partner) quoting reference FI0209Closing date for receipt of applications is 07/09/2025Lakeland Dairies Ltd is committed to having an inclusive workplace where every employee feels they belong.
