This is a site-based, long-term role offering excellent job security and future progression on major residential projects.The RoleYou will take a lead role in all setting-out and engineering activities on site, working closely with the Site Manager and wider project team to ensure accurate, high-quality delivery across all phases of the development.Key ResponsibilitiesFull responsibility for setting out houses, duplexes, apartments, roads, and servicesAccurate setting of foundations, rising walls, drainage, kerbs, columns, beams, and slabsSupervision of groundworks, block layers, steel fixers, shuttering carpenters, and concrete poursTaking levels and surveys and maintaining detailed site recordsProducing and managing as-built drawingsLiaising with Irish Water, local authorities, and design teamsAssisting with QA, BCAR compliance, and document controlSupporting Health & Safety procedures and site auditsRequirements5+ years’ experience as a setting-out/site engineer on Irish residential projectsStrong experience in large housing developmentsExcellent knowledge of groundworks, RC, timber frame, and traditional buildProficient with total station, GPS, and surveying equipmentStrong communication and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and lead the setting-out team.What’s on OfferLong-term employment (3–4 years)Competitive salary (DOE)Stable pipeline of future projectsSupportive, professional site teambensionopportunity to work permanently with a large tier 1 construction company.Career progression opportunities Apply with a CV or get in touch for a confidential discussion.Email: daniel@sherlockrecruitment.comCall: 0871841776
