**Financial Leadership Role Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to lead our finance operations and drive business growth.
1. Key Responsibilities:
2. Oversee daily finance activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
3. Manage supplier payments and ensure efficient payment processes
4. Prepare accounts for auditors and maintain accurate balance sheet records
5. Develop and implement effective invoice management systems
6. Create and monitor dashboards to track key performance indicators
7. Design and implement automated systems to replace manual processes
8. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analysis
9. Work closely with the buying team to maximize gross profit potential
10. Manage labour budgets and planning
11. Drive the quarter-end process and deliver quality financial reporting
12. Ensure accurate financial reporting across all areas of responsibility
13. Identify and resolve balance sheet account discrepancies promptly
14. Provide commentary on balance sheet/P&L variances to budget
15. Conduct analytical review reporting on key expense variances
16. Deliver high-quality financial analysis to identify trends and improve performance
17. Manage capex spends, ROI, and cost/benefit analysis
18. Review and improve budget accuracy monthly
19. Produce timely and accurate department margin analysis
20. Provide business data to enhance net margins
21. Manage tax compliance and liaise with external tax advisors
22. Liaise with external auditors on financial statement audits
23. Prepare statutory returns and annual accounts
