Senior Fund Accounting Leader
We are seeking an experienced fund accounting professional to lead and direct multiple teams, driving high-quality services across a complex portfolio of investment funds.
In this key role, you will provide leadership and mentorship, develop strong client relationships, and ensure operational excellence in all aspects of fund accounting.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and direct fund accounting teams, ensuring timely delivery of services and maintaining high quality standards
* Oversee monthly and quarterly NAV calculations and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Maintain and enhance internal control frameworks to meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices
* Serve as the primary escalation point and trusted advisor for clients, resolving complex issues and providing expert guidance
* Collaborate with auditors, custodians, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical matters
* Review performance and fee calculations, allocations, and reconciliations, identifying areas for improvement
* Drive process improvements and support new product launches and system implementations, enhancing operational efficiency
* Mentor and develop team members to support growth and succession planning, fostering a culture of excellence
* Contribute to business development efforts by participating in onboarding and client presentations
Requirements
* Minimum 8–10 years' experience in investment fund accounting or fund administration (hedge fund expertise strongly preferred)
* Demonstrated success in managing and developing teams at a senior level, with a track record of delivering results
* Deep understanding of fund structures, valuation methodologies, and relevant regulations, with a strong analytical mindset
* Excellent interpersonal and client relationship management skills, with the ability to build strong partnerships
* Strong problem-solving abilities, with a high level of accountability, organization, and attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, collaborating across time zones and fostering a culture of flexibility
