Accounting Expertise Sought
We are seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to contribute to our financial operations.
* Prepare year-end non-audit company accounts and working papers up to review stage, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Reconcile balance sheet items, including VAT, payroll, leases, hire purchases, and fixed assets, utilizing advanced technical abilities.
* Apply accounting principles to post journals onto accounting software accurately, maintaining high levels of precision and efficiency.
* Assist in the preparation of management accounts, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making.
* Prepare statutory financial statements while ensuring timely completion and procedural adherence.
* Support year-end close processes, including the preparation of year-end journals, to ensure seamless financial transitions.
* Assist in the preparation of Corporation Tax returns, leveraging expertise in tax regulations and procedures.
* Liaise with clients confidently over the phone and through written correspondence, delivering exceptional client service.
* Provide support to managers on special client projects and assignments, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Required Qualifications
* Part-qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with at least two years of experience in general accounting practice.
* Strong technical abilities and financial acumen with a results-driven mindset.
* Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on client service.
* Highly organized with strong planning and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
* Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred.
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
