Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our cybersecurity team as a graduate cybersecurity professional. This entry-level role offers the opportunity to work with experienced professionals, gain practical experience, and build a career in cybersecurity. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting our organization's sensitive information and critical infrastructure from cyber threats.
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
* Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, principles, and technologies
* Familiarity with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing methodologies
* Understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security technologies such as firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
* Relevant certifications like CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are advantageous
Roles and Responsibilities
* Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity incidents promptly
* Assist with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses
* Support security assessments of vendors holding Carne Data
* Maintain Carne’s ISO27001 Information Security Management System
* Conduct security awareness training for employees
* Participate in security incident investigations and recommend remediation actions
* Stay informed about emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies
* Assist with implementing and managing security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems
* Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security controls into projects and systems
